Cyprus – One of the nicest places I know

Posted in VoIP on October 19th, 2007 by Michal Bielicki

I tend to get asked quite often which of the places I used to live in I like most. I think its Nicosia. Its not the part the tourists love most about Cyprus, although I really really love the beaches and places to sunbathe or have a drinking spree at, but my absolutely favourite thing about Cyprus is the ease of getting things done. Yes they sometimes take aeons and tons of talking and persuation, but in the end you are always able to somehow manage. Maybe one day I will move back there, right now I only managed to go back for a weeks holiday :)

Posted in OpenSource, VoIP on October 19th, 2007 by Michal Bielicki

Right back from vacations I found a nice article that documents nicely why asterisk is bad for handling SIP. You can find it here.
Theo I share your view 100%, especially the sentence:

It’s SIP implementation is one of the worst i’ve seen. About as non-compliant to RFC
3261 (The SIP Specification) as they come.

good job. Poli Kala.
