Kids

In the strangest of times, after having to keep my nerves together with superglue and thinking, OK, this is it, now you will jump over the edge and just leave sanity to other people …. I get to see him and it all goes OK somewhat. Not that I am not still stressed, maybe sometimes even still close to going lala, but its easy to get a grip and put yourself back together when your kid just comes and totally unconditionally loves you for being his dad. It just kits the wounds, heals the soul and makes you laugh again and with that basically gets you back to a state where you know, OK, I’ll manage, somehow, it will take time, but I will do it.
Isn’t that like a miracle ? I think its one of the greatest things of all.
