My new worklife

OK, I am a lazy git for not writing for so long but things have changed significantly in my work life. I am now mostly doing Network Strategy Consulting for Truphone which involves managing our interests and developments in the freeswitch project, doing loads of cooperation with Vendors, planning to take the systems to the next level, rolling out systems, working on  rollouts in different countries and so on and so forth. The team is brilliant, most cooperation partners are brilliant as well and life is immensely interesting and educating workwise. Of course this has led to an even stronger disconnection to private life, but heck, thats the price you pay if you wat to be in he hot stuff.
Truphone does this fantastic job of integrating your mobile into the WiFI/SIP world and hence giving you the best of both worlds, cellular and internet in one device and one application. No more starting some client, no more fiddling with different address books, no more getting confused by strange interfaces and so on just to place that internet call. Pretty sexy. And all this funky stuff you can build upon an infrastructure is extremely interesting. Suddenly you can push mobile applications and media nearly seamless to a whole range of new users, which normally would refuse to use that because of the high charges network operators tend to put on their data plans.
Anyway so much marketing for my new work ….
