Boiled training session ;)

So I went for Patton-Inalp training. 20h by car with a nice stopover in Munich. Switzerland is beautifull as allways and the weather is marvelous, but the marvelous sun makes the training room resemble a sauna :) . I am quite fond of the Inalp stuff, it seems to do everything one could expect from a small to medium VoIP Gateway plus quite some straight IP gateway functionality. Also the header translation stuff is quite sexy. perfect combination for sipx/sipxchange :)

Here some pictures from our stay in Bern:

I visited yesterday the panorama floor of the Culture Palace in my hometown and was quite surprised by the view. You can see some images here:

Prepare for cluecon 2006

After the first one was a major success, cluecon seems to even grow in interesting speeches, people and happenings this year. The location is in central Chicago which will probably make the continuous late night sidetalks more easy (last year the hotel bar just refused to work after midnight) and it seems we have even more of the currently leading projects show us their latest and greatest. I am particularly curious what Mr. Jabber and jingle Peter St. Andre is going to present us this year. See you there …

A new way of using your mobile ..

Posted in VoIP, Work on June 3rd, 2006 by Michal Bielicki

I spent a day at the guys from Truphone. Besides that their premises are in the incredibly beautiful surroundings of Kent, and with the perfect weather we got it was even worth going there just for the beauty of the landscape ;) , their solution for becoming the worlds first true 4G mobile operator is just stunning. It’s like, use your phone wherever you like, and it will automagically use the right technology to place the best and cheapest call for you, no difference if currently you are in the region of your own WiFi, at a HotSpot, in UMTS region or just using GSM. Brilliant. It also seems like loads of the people I know in this business suddenly have truphone on their business cards …. what a surprise :) Prepare for loads of surprises to the mobile world from these guys.
