The more I read and listen to talks about SS7 for FOSS the more I can see how many strange people are digging into this funny business. Everybody talks about it not really knowing at all what they are talking about. I just had this funny conversation with a guy who wanted to explain to me that our MTP2 stack is a full SS7 implemenatation. He did not even know that SS7 is a signalling protocol and that you need to transport the payload by other means. *sigh*, this is becoming the most stressing chapter of this whole VoIP/OSS Voice story. All this people talking about OSS SS7 implementations, 6k$ telco’s etc.OK … stop whining and back to work …
